Northrop Grumman Global Operations Security is seeking a qualified Associate Windows Systems Administrator to join its dynamic team of technical professionals in Linthicum, MD.  The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time, at our Linthicum campus. Roles and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:  

Perform as a Windows Systems Administrator for a large classified government contract.

Maintain efficient operations of desktop computers. 

Support multiple networks and ensure necessary IT administration tasks are completed under supervision as necessary.

Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone, via email, and/or in-person.

Provide answers to clients by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding clients through corrective steps.

Record events, problems, and their resolution in logs.

Report project status as required for all recurring and non-recurring efforts.

Basic Qualifications:

Associate’s degree with 2 years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 0 years of experience; a High School diploma or equivalent with 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.

Current DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility; the ability to maintain the required security clearance will be a condition of continued employment.

The selected candidate will be required to obtain a polygraph within a reasonable period of time, as determined by customer and/or program requirements; maintaining a current DoD Top Secret security clearance with the required polygraph will be a condition of continued employment.

Candidate may be temporarily assigned other duties, as needed, while awaiting completion of clearance requirements.

Current DoD Approved 8570 IAM Level I certification (i.e. Security+CE), or the ability to obtain the required certification within 6 months of hire date; customer and/or program requirements may expedite the 6 month time window; maintaining the required certification will be a condition of continued employment.

Ability to travel as needed.

Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.

Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current DoD Approved 8570 IAM Level I certification (i.e. Security+CE).

Experience operating under and managing systems within current applicable information systems compliance standards.

Fundamental knowledge of Windows desktop support and Active Directory (AD) users and computers.

Helpdesk support experience. 

Experience working in team of IT professionals under direct supervision.

Salary Range: $60,900 USD – $91,300 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
