Northrop Grumman in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager 3. The GSC Production Program Manager 3 will lead a program or a function within the larger organizational unit, setting and operating to objectives and providing guidance to subordinates based on goals, objectives and company policy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

This position reports to the F/A-18 and F-5 GSC Production Program Manager in El Segundo, CA. In this role, the candidate will serve as the Global Supply Chain Program Manager for the F/A-18 and F-5 programs, Integrated Program Teams (IPTs) and Production Operations leadership. The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing GSC strategies to support your program, with focus on achieving affordability, operational efficiency, safety and first time quality targets. Candidate will be  responsible for various activities, be knowledgeable of multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain organization, and exhibit end-to-end supply chain competency.

Liaise between the GSC and functional organizations which support and/or contribute to its projects
Manage a team charged with developing and tracking Production execution data
Develop reports which highlight GSC production status for program, division and sector reviews
Facilitate F/A-18, F-5 Program Management and customer reviews
Develop and track progress of GSC goals
Focal point for all GSC program manager processes and tools
Oversee risks, issues and opportunities database
Maintain CRIT metrics and Supplier Management Walk Walks
Track and monitor GSC proposal inputs
Create and manage program documents such as organizational charts, calendars, GSC dashboards
Represent GSC in the F/A-18 and F-5 Program Management organization

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree AND 7+ years of related professional experience OR a Master’s degree and 5+ years experience
Diploma/equivalent with 11 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management and/or Operations Management
3 or more years’ experience leading a large team to effectively execute a broad statement of work
Experience with manufacturing and supply chain operations with demonstrated and proven leadership skills and ability to collaborate effectively at all levels
MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) & knowledge of SAP
Familiarity with MMAS/DCMA/ISO 9001 requirements
This position requires a current DOD Secret clearance with a refresh within the last 5 years and the ability to gain special program access or program access within a reasonable time to meet business needs and requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree or equivalent years
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
Ability to prepare and present executive-level presentations
Significant experience in a program management organization
Excellent communications and leadership skills
4 or more years’ proven track record building a robust team; provide people leadership, with a focus on acquiring, developing and retaining talent; respectful of others & understand and embrace the value of an inclusive team; empower each team member to perform at the highest level of productivity; be empathetic and listen for understanding
Proven ability to set a vision; assess external and internal factors to determine long-term business direction; create strategies that shape the future and inspire the team, resulting in sustainable value and performance; critical thinking

Salary Range: $160,200 USD – $240,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
