Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Supply Chain Business Operations Compliance Specialist to join our GSC team.The successful candidate will be responsible for processes and activities within supply chain related operations and compliance such as regulatory compliance, systems and technology, data analytics and performance, international supply chain, operational excellence and supply base diversity. Supports strategic direction and tactical execution of governance (policy, procedure, processes, etc.), priorities, initiatives and related activities.Candidate must have experience working in a Global Supply Chain organization and prior hands-on experience as a Buyer or Subcontract Administrator of DoD FAR based acquisitions.The essential functions of this position are as follows;
Perform Internal PACE audits (compliance audit of Procurement files)
Support audits within the organization
Provide compliance support to the GSC organization
Review procedures for accuracy and needed clarification
Support the training team with compliance guidance and provide training as required to the organization
Remain up to date in FAR/DFAR regulations
Interface with Supply Chain Management processes and personnel at all levels
Will be able to support a hybrid telecommute/in-office schedule. Most in-office requirements would be for training and development activitiesBasic Qualifications:
Must have high school diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 14 years of relevant experience
Will consider at least 10 years of relevant experience with bachelor’s degree or at least 8 years of relevant experience with Master’s
Experience supporting different types of programs or product lines as well as contract types including cost types
Experience working with subcontractors during all phases of program lifecycle
Experience utilizing MS Office Suite, SAP and other business tools used in the execution of subcontracts management activities
Strong organizational skills
Understanding of FAR/DFAR – ability to evaluate, negotiate and administer subcontract terms and conditions
Demonstrated ITAR compliance
Working knowledge of SAP ERP System
Current DoD Secret level or ability to obtain this level of Clearance
This position reports to Huntsville, AL, USA, however, this position can also be worked from Unknown City, AL, AL, USA.
Salary Range: $97,300 USD – $145,900 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
