Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a successful candidate to fill a Test and Evaluation (T&E) Engineer Lead role for the B-2 program within the Lab Support IPT. Responsible for working with an integrated product team (IPT) structure to perform technical planning, design, execution, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for the Labs within the Weapon System Support Center (WSSC) within Tinker AFB , OK.  

Reports directly to System Test IPT Lead.  The position is located in Oklahoma City, OK

The roles and responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following:

Technical responsibility over Obsolescence, Maintenance, and management of the labs. 

Technical responsibility for design, management and plan for the modernization of the labs. 

Control Account Management (CAM) responsibilities for these efforts.  

Oversight of Engineering Task Assessments (ETAs) related to the labs.  

Work with multiple efforts and efficiently merge them into supporting all efforts and their milestones

Must be familiar with managing suppliers and working with supplier management teams and Global Supply Chain partners.

Must be comfortable briefing Government and Northrop Grumman leadership on technical progress, risks, issues, and opportunities.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university with 9 years of experience; Master’s Degree in STEM with 7 years of experience or PhD with 4 years of experience.

Successful experience in planning, risk management, and/or project performance addressing cost, schedule, and technical quality.

Understanding of the application and development of functional and physical architectures, interfaces, and requirements in large systems.

Experience building, supporting, or running aerospace labs

Current in-scope active final DoD Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.

Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR)

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university with 10 years of experience or PhD with 7 years of experience.

Successful experience in modernization or sustainment planning, risk management, and project performance addressing cost, schedule, and technical quality

Proven experience in managing labs, setting & operating to objectives & providing guidance to subordinates based on goals, objectives & company policy. 

Logistics/Sustainment experience in a military environment

Experience in developing and managing Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) elements on a large system development-type contract or full responsibility for all aspects of program performance on a large technical services-type contract.

Preference in knowledge / experience of B-2 operational CONOPS 

Successful experience in major lab upgrade or lab modification programs

Current DoD Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance

 Active B-2 technical experience and program clearances

Salary Range: $131,100 USD – $196,700 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
