Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has openings for Structural Analysis Engineers or Principal Structural Analysis Engineers to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Palmdale, CA within the Palmdale Aircraft Integration Center of Excellence (PAICoE) organization.
These positions are for a 4 day – 10 hours/day schedule, and will have the possibility to work multiple shifts:
4/10 1st Shift
4/10 2nd Shift. Additional pay for shift differential will apply

The Successful candidate will be experienced in structural analysis methods including large NASTRAN models of metallic and advanced composite structures, as well as hand analysis.
Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering with 2 to 9 years of experience to include a background in structural analysis (Master’s degree may count towards an additional 2 years of experience)
Experience in Structural Analysis Methods and documentation, including hand analysis, and Finite Element Models.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
Advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering
Aerospace structural analysis experience using NASTRAN, PATRAN, or FEMAP.
Experience with analysis of composite and / or metallic structure and repair methods
Analysis experience in a MRB role.
Experience working on military aircraft
Experience with durability and damage tolerance (DaDT) of aircraft structures
Salary Range: $85,000 USD – $127,400 USD
Salary Range 2: $104,600 USD – $157,000 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
