Job Description

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Service Delivery Lead to join the Digital Engineering Center team within the Digital Engineering and Competitive Design (DECD) organization. Service Delivery Leads bridge the gap between the Programs in our Divisions and the DECD and Digital Transformation Office (DTO). This position will support one of our NGMS Divisions and act as the strategic partner and liaison to the DECD/DTO leadership/products.

Responsibilities Include:

Ensure division needs are translated properly and understood by the DECD and DTO Digital Design teams so that those needs lead to solutions that provide business value to our divisions.
Act as the main POC for products, services and staff from the DECD organization to NGMS Divisions and the DTO.
Coordinate resources for priority division initiatives, programs, and captures that require DECD support.
Manage division relationship and their journey of digital transformation through partnership with DECD.
Manage both technical and business focused initiatives and influence divisions with all levels of leadership.

The SDL must be an outstanding communicator that is comfortable presenting to senior leadership. They must be able to comprehend technical requirements and map them to the Digital Engineering capabilities in the organization.

Basic Qualifications

BS or higher in an engineering or closely-related discipline or Defense program management experience.
7+ years of experience within a related engineering or defense field.
2+ years of leading or managing projects or people.
Strong understanding of business value and how technical solutions provide business value
Experience giving executive presentations.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Collaborative, influential, strategic, self-motivated.

U.S Citizenship with an active DoD Secret Clearance.

Preferred qualifications

Experience performing digital engineering (MBX, D*O, Agile, etc) on a program or capture.
Experience with leading change initiatives.
Experience developing technical and business strategies.

 Located at one of our sizeable NGMS locations: BWI (MD), Charlottesville (VA), Sykesville (MD), Rolling Meadows (IL) is preferred, but not required

This position reports to Linthicum, MD, USA, however, you are able to work from any of the additional 4 locations listed above.

Salary Range: $141,100 USD – $211,700 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
