Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on optical, and/or mechanical, assemblies and subassemblies. Works from electronic work instructions, diagrams and drawings, and uses hand and/or power tools, ovens.  May use chemicals and paint type products. Will conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble subassemblies according to specifications.

Basic Qualifications

HS diploma or GED plus a year of work experience

Ability to work with chemicals, solvents, paint

Perform basic problem solving

Possess basic verbal & written communication skills for minimal interaction with others

Be able to utilize production work orders, documents, drawings & specifications to perform tasks

Ability to follow standard operating and safety procedures when using tools, equipment, chemicals and solvents

Good hand/eye coordination

Preferred Qualifications

Soldering certification

Prior experience working with optical or mechanical sub assemblies

Experience working under a microscope


Salary Range: $31,200 USD – $48,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
