Northrop Grumman Space System’s Program Integration organization is seeking a Principal Project Manager to join our team. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You’ll Get To Do:
This position is responsible for vertical and horizontal integration of our Global Supply Chain team. This position will routinely interface with disciplines such as: master planning, configuration and data management, digital engineering, business management, risk management, processes and tools, engineering, etc. This position also regularly interfaces with senior management across the company and our customers. The selected candidate will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. The candidate will also review status of projects and budget, manage schedules and prepare status reports, assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. The selected candidate will also develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with managers.
This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Serve as an integration function for Global Supply Chain engaging in many ad hoc activities required to ensure streamlined cadence and execution.
Collaborate across all functions within the program to develop advanced concepts, techniques and requirements for new applications and tools.
Coordinate schedules, and provide Liaison assistance between the interfacing IPTs for test facility utilization and access.
Support the Global Supply Chain Team with vertical and horizontal integration activities in Roy, Utah.
Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years of experience or 10 years of experience in lieu of degree; 4 years with Master’s.
Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance.
Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles and execution of a large complex program.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Experience with high level customer engagement.
Experience in Global Supply Chain or Supplier Management.

Salary Range: $72,400 USD – $108,600 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
