Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Technician 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Clearfield, Utah facility. Our team conducts complex NDT inspection processes utilizing automated inspection systems and various manual inspection techniques on composite parts and assemblies. We support multiple prime contractors for military and commercial programs. Requires Ultrasonic certification in accordance with NAS410.

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent GED (education will be verified) and Level 2 Certification per NAS410 in Ultrasonics (certification will be verified).
Minimum of 6+ years experience operating automated Ultrasonic systems and manual inspection techniques
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Ability to obtain a special program access clearance

Preferred Qualifications

Efficient at MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other office systems
Must have the skills and knowledge to interpret codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control NDT method(s)
Capable of selecting the method and technique for a specific inspection
Capable of preparing and verifying the adequacy of procedures and work instructions
Capable of approving NDT procedures and work instructions for technical adequacy
Capable of conducting NDT for the acceptance of parts and document the results
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a team
Excellent communication skills are required
Self-Starter and ability to work through an issue to closure

Salary Range: $63,200 USD – $105,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
