Northrop Grumman is looking for a system software integration engineer for the Ruby program to develop and operate a continuous delivery software pipeline and work with developers, system test and external mission users.
-Perform system software integration into a virtualized software integration lab (VSIL).
-Integrate space vehicle software into simulators
-Develop interoperability tests into an automated test suite iteratively with software developers.
-Learn and validate operational procedures for the ground and space system with demonstrations and development of a continuous integration test suite.
Candidates must be hands-on engineers in system and software testing and development. Successful candidates will have proven ability to work in a collaborative environment with other team members, adapt quickly, solve problems, and resolve conflict.
-Software development and test experience
-Programming experience e.g. (C, C++, Ruby, Go)
-Developing and maintaining an automated testing system
-Used git source control
-Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 5+ years of engineering experience OR Master’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 3+ years of engineering experience OR PhD in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline
-Candidate must have, and be able to maintain, at least ONE of the following active U.S. Government security clearances:
-Current DoD Secret clearance
-Ability to obtain SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications (some of the following and the rest will be learned on the job)
-Continuous Integration experience
-User experience with Gitlab Ci or Jenkins
-Experience with end-to-end system testing and demonstrations
-Experience with Hardware test bed or system integration lab (SIL)
-Experience with ground or flight systems software as developer, tester or end-user.
-Simulation software development experience
-Current SCI clearance

Salary Range: $104,600 USD – $157,000 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
