Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking to fill a System Test Project Management role. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.
What You’ll Get To Do:
Project Management position involves overseeing and managing the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Review status of projects and budget, manage schedules and prepare status reports, assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Will develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with test managers.
Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:
Serve as an overall integration function for the test program engaging in many ad hoc activities required to ensure streamlined cadence for test operations and execution.
Collaborate across all functions within the program to develop advanced concepts, techniques and requirements for new applications and tools.
Coordinate schedules, and provide Liaison between the interfacing IPTs for lab utilization and access.
Focal Point for lab access requests and authorization coordination with security.
Facilitate internal and external meetings to support the System Test Team and represent Test in appropriate program reviews or boards.
Identify and mitigate project risks throughout project life cycle.
Support and generate proposal documentation as needed to foster new work.
Develop and deliver high level briefings to Test Leadership.
Provide solutions to complex problems that are consistent with the organization’s objectives.
Identify opportunities for change and champion needed changes in the organization.
This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
System Test Project Manager:
3 Years of experience with Bachelor’s degree; 1 Year with Masters; 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a formal degree.
Must be a US Citizen with an Active DoD Secret Clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years prior to commencement of employment.
Must have the ability to obtain, and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAP) as a condition of continued employment.
Project management experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Proficiency with Tools such as: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management or Business Management from an accredited institution.
A current DoD Top Secret security clearance, to include a Single Scope Background Investigation, a periodic reinvestigation, or an original adjudication date completed within the last 6 years.
Salary Range: $58,800 USD – $88,200 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
