Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Manager Site Lead – LNO located in Nellis AFB, NV. Will be responsible for supporting the 31st Combat Training Squadron (CTS) – Virtual Test & Training Center (VTTC). The VTTC is a state of art Aircraft simulation training environment. It provides training for HIGH END ADVANCED TRAINING and TACTICS (HEAT 2). The selected candidate will interface with the build, install and operations of the VTTC battle space environment [VBE]. The site manager will provide leadership to a diverse set of engineers, cyber security specialists, and system administrators; as well as provide functional management over an assigned staff of military trainers/subject matter experts.

The site manager will have simulated tactical flight training weapons and adversary aggressor training oversight. Will provide planning, briefing, execution, debriefing, and after-action activities associated with the conduct of advanced LVC activities, missions as well as provide functional management over assigned staff. Provide USAF Large Force Employment execution, to include modeling and simulation activities. Will interact with all levels of tactical personnel up to high ranking (General Officer (GO)-level) personnel on exercise issues and problems. Will provide LNO leadership with engineers, weapons system operators, internal and external team members, subcontractors as well as sponsors and other DoD contractors. Will communicate future training initiatives to government and industry partners. In addition, the site manager will support Business Development processes for future capture opportunities at Nellis AFB, NV. This position requires 25% travel, support of conferences, meetings, and other operational planning events.

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
15 Years of experience of Military experience
DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility and able to maintain clearance
Senior Level USAF Fighter, Command and Control or Surveillance/Reconnaissance–Operations or similar
Experience as a USAF Mission Commander, Mission Crew/Evaluator, or Air Operations Division or Cell Leader or similar equivalent experience
Pilot experience on any of the following systems F-15, F-16, F-22, F-35, AWACS, CRC or similar Weapons Systems
Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Project)
Proven experience communicating and briefing senior military leadership and ability to translate complex tasks and activities into a concise summary for evaluation

Preferred Qualifications:

BA/BS degree
10 years operational experience in 5th generation fighter aircraft
Experience with Combat Air Forces DMO exercises and simulation events
Project Management Professional certification

Salary Range: $141,100 USD – $211,700 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
