We are looking for you to join our team as a Field Technician 3 based out of Chantilly, VA (Morrisville, NC may be considered as another possible location).
What You’ll get to Do:
As a uniquely qualified mission oriented individual with a background in electronics, Electronic System integration/maintenance, Airborne ISR, Electronic Warfare (EW) and some field experience you will get to:
Perform CONUS mission/maintenance support, integration/test of in-house and field-deployed EW products
Conduct training in both formal and informal environments
Closely interface with the customer and system operators in planning, maintenance and operation of fielded equipment
Support will include field-testing of selected equipment and software
Work with minimal supervision and support
Work on various types of electronic test equipment and diagnostic software packages
Showcase your excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as, your strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Communicate concisely and effectively with all levels of program personnel and customers using verbal and/or written communications
Author, distribute and maintain formal and informal reports on all activities
Be a highly motivated, self-starter but also get to work with a team
Be part of a high pressure, no-fail, highly dynamic, rapidly changing, and challenging work environment; therefore, a highly professional demeanor and a positive mental attitude needed to satisfy these demands
Work extended hours during mission critical time periods
High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience
Must have radio and/or computer troubleshooting and repair experience
Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Must have an Active DoD Top Secret / SCI
Avionics Integration experience
Electronic Warfare experience
Military experience highly desirable
Antenna, RF cable/connector troubleshooting and repair experience
This position reports to Chantilly, VA, USA, however, this position can also be worked from Morrisville, NC, NC, USA.
Salary Range: $61,700 USD – $102,800 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
