Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Project Manager. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What You’ll Get To Do:

This position oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. This position will review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and will prepare status reports. The selected candidate will assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. The selected candidate will develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications:

6 Years with Bachelors; 4 Years with Masters; 4 additional years in lieu of degree.

Must have U.S. Citizenship  with a current or active Secret level clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience leading a team in successful completion of projects.

Intermediate to expert in Microsoft Office Suite – Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

Program management, operations or cost estimating experience.

Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.

Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.

Salary Range: $74,600 USD – $111,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
