Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has openings for Quality Analyst.  Quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards.

Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly. Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met.

Recommends corrective actions, dispositions, and modifications. Ensure that performance and quality products conform to established company procedures. Assure procedures are in place to maintain company aircraft records for compliance of company procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

Strong communication skills both oral and written.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Security Clearance.
Self-starter with demonstrated problem-solving skills who can work with minimal direction.
Knowledge of the Maintenance Data System tracking and recording systems, specifically USAF IMDS application.
Ability to work flexible or extended hours
Experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to process and analyze data quickly to identify area for improvement opportunities.
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of quality work experience; or Master’s and 1+ years of quality work experience.  Note: an additional 4 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in an ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management System Environment
Demonstrate ability to work with minimal oversight and in a multi-discipline team environment
Experience in SAP and MES systems
Knowledge of AS9100D
Able to multitask in a challenging environment
Knowledge of Root Cause and Corrective Action methods, continuous improvement principles, and data analysis methods and tools.

Salary Range: $60,600 USD – $90,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
