Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Requirements, Verification and Interfaces Manager 2 for the Sentinel Program’s Support and Training Segment. This leadership role is located in Roy, Utah. Learn more about the Sentinel (GBSD) program here.  Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

What you will get to do:

This individual’s role will focus on providing segment-wide guidance on the development of requirements, interfaces, and verification activities for the support equipment used to maintain the deployment and operational capability of the Sentinel Missile system.  This individual will serve as a critical interface point between systems engineers operating at the highest, weapon-system level, and those working on the design and test of individual pieces of support equipment. 

The selected candidate will have the opportunity to play a part in one of Northrop Grumman’s keystone programs, the Sentinel InterContinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM), a $13 Billion effort to modernize a key component of our nation’s defense.  This role is required throughout the Engineering Manufacturing and Development (EMD) phase of the Sentinel program which is expected to last through CY2028.  The individual will play a key role in all phases of support equipment lifecycle, beginning with requirements decomposition and lasting through the handoff of requirements verification testing to the integration and test engineers.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Bachelors of Science Degree from an accredited university with 6 years of experience; 4 years with a Masters of Science of Degree; An additional 4 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 5 years)
2 years of experience working with requirements, verification, and or interface development
US Citizenship is required.
At least 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule


Very strong understanding of SE process, including SE experience across multiple levels of integration
Active DoD Top Secret clearance
Experience with missile systems and weapon system support & maintenance
Weapon System Support equipment requirements and verification or modeling and simulation experience
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate diverse and inclusive teams in a significant leadership role.
Experience supporting large defense programs
Experience with the following tools: Doors, Cameo, Jira, Confluence
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

Salary Range: $127,700 USD – $191,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
