Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Logistics Project Manager. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.

What you’ll get to do: 

Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:

Coordinate schedules, requirements, and performance visibility to both the Program Office and internal Customers while maintaining quality, cost, and schedule requirements
Facilitate internal and external meetings to support the program and represent program management in appropriate program reviews or boards
Identify and mitigate project risks throughout project life cycle
Develop and deliver high level briefings to Program Leadership and/or customer
Provide solutions to complex problems that are consistent with the organization’s objectives
Identify opportunities for change and champion needed changes in the organization
Evaluate issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, work autonomously under general direction and will demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Serves as an overall integration function for the program engaging in many ad hoc activities required to ensure streamlined cadence for program operations and execution.
Review and align tasks to Program Statement of Work
Understand and adhere to master program and project plans and schedules
Identify, distribute, track, and complete program requirements
Adhere to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards
Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) work challenges to mitigate KPIs
Develop and adhere to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control methodologies

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You’ll bring these qualifications:

Logistics Project Management: 3 Years of experience with bachelor’s degree; 1 Years with Masters. .
Must be able to obtain DOD secret clearance.
US Citizenship, with the ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
Experience supporting DOD Programs.
Experience presenting to upper-level management.
Proficient on MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Working knowledge of the following

Key Performance Indicator (KPI)
Develop, Implement and Update Project Schedules
Developing Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) | Project Estimating | Request for Proposal (RFP) | Statement of Work (SOW) Decomposition | Planning Earned Value Management System (EVMS) | Cost and Schedule Performance Measurement
Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles and execution of large projects

These qualifications would be nice to have:

PMP certification
Lean Six Sigma certification
Experience with tableau and data analytics
Ability to communicate with multiple levels of the organization having excellent presentation skills.
Experience working in a logistics, distribution, and goods movement functions

Salary Range: $60,600 USD – $90,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
