Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Manufacturing Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in El Segundo, CA.
1st shift, 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off!
Position is in-office, unable to accommodate a telecommute/hybrid schedule.

Essential Functions:

Monitor/manage on-hand levels of paints, chemicals, and sealants
Forecast shortages and take necessary risk mitigation steps
Create lab reports as needed
Coordinate with Lab team to prioritize incoming product needing testing/documentation review
Track and expedite all test samples
Monitor and track product usage and make necessary adjustments   
Resolve shortages impacting schedule performance by coordinating with other ACC support teams such as Quality Control, Material Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Procurement, etc.
Coordinate release of Purchase Orders / iBuy Requisitions for non-inventory items
Create receiving reports for Quality Control
Provide status and visibility on ACC schedule performance to internal customers, Manufacturing leadership, Program Integrated Process Team leadership, and GM Internal Suppliers leadership
Break shop floor constraints impacting schedule performance by coordinating with other ACC support teams such as Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling, etc…
Coordinate and communicate overtime requirements with all support organizations and Manufacturing
Utilizing an understanding of program schedule requirements, establish shop priorities and communicate them to Composites Center Production Control teammates for coordination with Production supervisors
Coordinate release of Purchase Orders / iBuy Requisitions for offsite processing of parts and/or materials
Coordinate with Assembly Line Integration on schedule delays/part shortages to provide ECD’s for ACC parts
Provide feedback to Buy Integration on buy part shortages causing impacts to ACC production operations
Perform SAP/MES reconciliation on parts and requirements to ensure proper alignment to master schedule
Perform requirement analyses to identify necessary ICMT’s to mitigate schedule impacts

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or at least 4 years of experience with a high school diploma/equivalent. Experience must be in supply chain, logistics, or another relevant field.
Proficient with Microsoft Suite with an emphasis on Excel and Power Point.
Experience with SAP and/or similar ERP systems
Ability to obtain and maintain DOD Secret Clearance and a Program Special Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business need (after starting).

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Manufacturing and Supply Chain processes strongly preferred
Experience in SAP (MES) (or related)
Materials management experience

Salary Range: $58,000 USD – $87,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
