Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Material Requirements Planning Analyst 2 or 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Iuka, MS.

Our team is looking for an individual who will make a difference for themselves and the company in the area of material planning.  Managing and inputting material requirements on the front end of the process along with monitoring and controlling the inventory usage on the back end of the process critically defines the success of the supply chain function, our programs, and the Iuka facility.

Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and schedule the material supply to meet production needs
Perform MRP/ROP variance analysis to ensure order trigger accuracy
Ensure consumption inputs reflect operational manufacturing usage
Coordinate with other departments as required to validate material availability
Maintain material usage reports to support quantity change initiatives
Enter material requirement requisitions in the ERP system signaling procurement activities and track deliveries to ensure support of production schedules
Generate documents to signal material release to operations and inventory reductions based on actual material quantities used

This position supports a standard, single-shift, Monday through Friday, 9/80 schedule, which gives you every other Friday off to pursue interests outside of work.  Some effort may be required outside of this format as directed by program or customer needs.

This role may be filled at a Material Requirements Planning Analyst or Principal Material Requirements Planning Analyst level depending on the qualifications below. 

Basic Qualifications:

Material Requirements Planning Analyst (Level 2)

Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of professional experience in supporting materials for production or related experience; Master’s degree and 1 year of professional experience in supporting materials for production or related experience. Note: An additional 4 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Demonstrated understanding of material planning signals and supply chain concepts
Experience with planning software programs, tools, or spreadsheets for planning support
Active DOD Secret Clearance or higher
Ability to obtain and maintain including Special Access Program within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Principal Material Requirements Planning Analyst (Level 3)

Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of professional experience in supporting materials for production or related experience; Master’s degree and 4 years of professional experience in supporting materials for production or related experience. Note: An additional 4 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Demonstrated understanding of material planning signals and supply chain concepts
Experience with planning software programs, tools, or spreadsheets for planning support
Active DOD Secret Clearance or higher
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting or Business-related field
APICS certification in supply chain and/or production control
Knowledge and use of ERP/MRP systems within the material planning software (Costpoint / SAP preferred)

Salary Range: $52,200 USD – $78,400 USD
Salary Range 2: $64,200 USD – $96,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
