Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager 2 to join its Modeling, Simulation & Analysis (MS&A) organization within SEIT in support of the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This leadership role is located in Roy, Utah. Learn more about the Sentinel (GBSD) program here.  Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

What you will get to do:

The Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT IPT) is seeking a manager to oversee modeling and simulation activities at the system. Job duties include but are not limited to:

M&S Verification & Validation (V&V)
Planning and Tasking
CDRL management
TPM development and management
Logistics MS&A activities
understanding of MBSE activities related to MS&A
Planning and executing the plan for validating and verifying models within a Model-Based Systems Engineering environment.
Proactively interface with other SE&I organizations and Sentinel IPTs to ensure successful V&V of MS&A including verification of requirements by analysis.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 6 years of experience; 4 years with a Master’s Degree
Active Secret Clearance or higher investigated within the past 5 years
2 years of Modeling Simulation & Analysis and Verification & Validation experience
At least 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
U.S. Citizenship required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with Mathematical Modeling, Statistics, and/or Optimization
Development and/or application of analytic methodologies to predict or calculate metrics
Software scripting experience to automate analytics (python, ruby, C++, VBA, etc.)
Experience on a Model Based Systems Engineering activity / program
Experience with Systems Engineering Requirement definition and verification planning
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Experience with basic systems engineering toolset and languages (e.g. DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, UML, SysML)
Experience with Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Testability requirements and analysis
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
Excellent oral and written communication skills

Salary Range: $127,700 USD – $191,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
