Northrop Grumman’s Enterprise Services is seeking a Program Manager for the Information Architecture & Standards organization. The Manager will manage the Architecture and Standards group in the Information Architecture and Governance organization of the Chief Data Office. In this role, you will lead a team that is responsible for architecting, developing, and building the data infrastructure across Northrop Grumman.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Plan the design, execution and deliverables of the enterprise data architecture, infrastructure, and platforms
Establish milestones and lead cross-functional team to meet program cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives
Develop solutions in collaboration with customers and platform architects to support customer needs in a highly complex and dynamic environment
Support requirements capture, design and technical implementation of Digital / Enterprise Transformation initiatives related to infrastructure and platforms
Build and develop a world class team leveraging a strong foundation already in place
Manage capacity, priorities, and performance for a team of architects, product owners, systems engineers, and software engineers
Develop data architect, solution architect, and software/systems engineering talent pipeline
Establish best practices for infrastructure development and execution
Advise leadership team on data platform value, opportunities, and strategy
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and at least 8+ years of applicable professional experience; 6 years with a Master’s degree
Demonstrated success leading teams and/or project/programs to achieve a common goal
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for varied audiences on analytical subject matter
Experience in business process improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques
Significant experience in identifying and driving operational/organizational change and excellence
Demonstrated experience leading positive change, empowering people and cultivating product/technology visions and innovative solutions
Demonstrated ability to transform business requirements to specific analytical tools
Ability to obtain a DOD Top Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with software development
Systems architecture / systems engineering experience
Knowledge of software and cloud computing concepts and technologies
Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, oral, and presentation)
Experience with engineering process and governance
Proven people management experience leading an organization
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a diverse team
Experience with Agile development and methodologies, devops practices, and SaaS technologies
Experience with strategic planning
Ability to make decisions with minimal support
Understanding of Northrop Grumman policy, process, and products
Knowledge of Northrop Grumman cybersecurity standards and practices
This position reports to Falls Church, VA, USA, however, this position can also be worked from Unknown City, VA, VA, USA.
Salary Range: $134,400 USD – $221,800 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
