Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Procurement Coordinator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL. The position will be primarily based out of the office in Melbourne, but may be available for a hybrid/telecommute schedule within driving distance to the office.

Provides administrative support to Subcontract Managers and Subcontract Specialists, which will includes resolving financial and accounting issues related to invoicing, building POs in SAP, metric data collection, status tracking and reporting, coordination of approvals for various Subcontract Management processes, delivery tracking and expediting, coordinating supplier visits, scheduling meetings, taking meeting minutes, booking travel arrangements, processing expense reports, data entry, file management, partner with GSC, program, engineering, MRP for misc. tasks, and other duties as required.

The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience. Experience should relate to supplier, procurement or contracts management.
MS Office Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Strong Communications Skills
Must have ability to obtain Active, In-Scope DoD Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Active, In-Scope DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher that has been granted / renewed within the past 6 years
SAP
Special Program Access
Presentation Skills
Direct experience within government contracting procurement environments

Salary Range: $50,500 USD – $84,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
