The Payload and Ground Systems organization within the Northrop Grumman Space Systems pushes the boundaries of innovation, redefines engineering capabilities, and drives advances in various sciences. The Payload and Ground Systems organization within the Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for you to join our team as an Intelligence Analyst based out of Dayton, OH.
What you’ll get to do: Utilize advanced data science methods to analyze and exploit source data to support national level intelligence production.
The selected analyst will have knowledge/experience in any of the following disciplines:
Geospatial Intelligence
Electro Optical (EO)
Infrared (IR)
Radar (Passive/Active)
Responsibilities and Duties Include:
Develop key approaches to address intelligence questions and concepts
Strong technical writing and briefing skills
The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
This position may be filled at an Intelligence Analyst or a Principal Intelligence Analyst level.
Basic Qualifications:
Intelligence Analyst: Bachelor’s + 2 years of experience; Master’s + 0 years of experience
Principal Intelligence Analyst: Bachelor’s + 5 years of experience: Master’s + 3 years of exp; PhD + 0 years of experience Strong background in creating, processing, and distributing technical reports and analysis
Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience working with classification handling and marking protocols
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
U.S. Citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in a relevant field (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Geography, or other STEM field)
Background working within various Intelligence Disciplines
Salary Range: $70,100 USD – $105,100 USD
Salary Range 2: $86,300 USD – $129,500 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
