Overview

We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Quantitative Intelligence Analyst to join our Business Intelligence Support Services (BISS) Team.

Each day U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) oversees the massive flow of people, capital, and products that enter and depart the United States via air, land, sea, and cyberspace.  The volume and complexity of both physical and virtual border crossings require the application of solutions to promote efficient trade and travel.  Further, effective solutions help CBP ensure the movement of people, capital, and products is legal, safe, and secure.

In response to this challenge, ManTech, as a trusted mission partner of CBP, seeks capable, qualified, and versatile Quantitative Intel Analysts to join its Business Intelligence Support Services (BISS) program team and help lead the development and delivery of high-quality solutions.  Successful applicants will serve as recognized subject matter experts addressing complex national and homeland security challenges. The products we develop provide actionable insight with real and immediate impact on the safety and security of the United States, its citizens, visitors, and economy. In addition, the selected individual will provide network analysis support as part of an integrated agile team that will be responsible for using, developing, maintaining, and enhancing models, tools and software for Intelligence Analysis-Counter-terrorism-Network Analysis, Predictive Modeling, Threat Research Support, Visualization and Query Support.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree is required.
Strong foundation in statistics, mathematics, and data analysis techniques. Proficiency in using quantitative methods to extract insights from large, structured data sets.
Experience in data preprocessing, cleansing, and transformation to prepare data for analysis, performing data analysis, and interpreting results.
Ability to create meaningful and informative data visualizations using tools like Tableau, Qlik, Microsoft Power BI, or similar platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies within data
Experience in community and threat Identification.
Experience presenting work to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with Intelligence Analysis, working in law enforcement or classified intelligence analysis environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in field of entity resolution, analytics, data mining or name matching.
Knowledge or experience with data wrangling, cleansing, and analytics
Experience with DevOps practices and agile development methodologies. Familiarity with continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), and agile lifecycle management tools like Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
Conceptual understanding of – and/or prior experiences related to – data profiling, fuzzy matching, entity resolution, and signal detection theory (specifically with respect to SD theory:  designing and improving upon systems that monitor, minimize, and balance false positive and false negative outcomes).

HS Diploma/GED and 15+ years
AS/AA and 13-18 years
BS/BA and 7-12 years
MS/MA/MBA and 5-9 years
PhD/Doctorate and 3-7 years
