Lockheed Martin’s Aeronautics in Marietta, GA is seeking a Summer 2024 Classified Cyber Security Intern. In this role you will provide hands on technical assistance for complex systems/networks, develop system documentation for information system authorization, and continuously monitor classified systems for threats, vulnerabilities, and compliance.
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge with Windows or Linux operating systems and be proficient with configuring computer systems and/or software.
Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Pursing a degree in Cyber Security, Information Assurance, Computer Systems, or related discipline
• Familiar with Windows or Linux operating systems
• Proficient with configuring computer systems and/or software

Desired Skills:
• Security+ CE Certification
• Basic Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Familiar with Confluence, JIRA, or similar collaboration tool
• Basic Knowledge of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools
Security Clearance Statement:This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely:Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
