More About the Role:
The Defense Group of Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator Mid to support efforts for the OCONUS Navy Enterprise Network (ONE-Net) portion of the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) contract located in Yokosuka, Japan.  The Logistics Coordinators integrate the spectrum of the logistics processes within the operational, acquisition and wholesale environments.

SMIT is the largest IT services program for the Navy; inclusive of cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, Leidos will support the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service while also saving significant dollars by focusing efforts under one enterprise network.

What You'll Get to Do:
•Perform Asset Management responsibilities as outlined in applicable government policies:
    -Execute annual and monthly inventories.
    -Support Request for Change (RFC) process.
    -Ensure system of record is maintained with inventory data.
    -Resolve discrepancies.
    -Perform regular reporting to program owners.
•Maintain local procedures and practices:
    -Follow local procedures and practices.
    -Review procedures and practices for possible improvement. 
    -Update procedures and practices as necessary.
    -Create documentation for procedures and practices when they don’t exist to include standard operating procedures, process flow diagrams, FAQs, and training materials to maintain operation consistency.
•Shipping, and receiving of assets.
•Coordination for procurement of new and renewal of maintenance agreements.
•Responsible for directing the integrated logistics process, developing support policies, procedures and systems, and providing implementation guidance.  
•Prepare and implement directives to ensure effective logistics support, and establishes and enforces standards.
•Develop, initiate, integrate and manage all logistics actions associated with life cycle management of equipment.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
•Requires High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of prior relevant experience.
•US Citizen and have an active DoD Secret Clearance.
•Experience with Remedy software.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
•Asset Management using Remedy.
•Experience supporting SPAWAR/NAVIFOR/NIWC/NCTAMS/NCTS environment.
•Experience with FAR/DFAR Government Property Management requirements.
•Experience with other Government asset management system (DPAS or GCSS-MC).

Pay Range:

Pay Range $48,750.00 – $75,000.00 – $101,250.00
