Our Science & Space Business Unit operates globally providing solutions for NASA, Federal Civilian Agencies, the U.S. Department of Defense, we well as commercial customers. We are actively recruiting for a DoD Skillbridge Intern to join our Talent Acquisition team as a Sourcer. In this role, you will join a team of talented and committed Talent Advisor’s and learn how to attract, source, and hire talent across our business areas. You will also support our Military and Skillbridge hiring initiatives. This will be a full-time remote opportunity with a preferred location near or facilities in Houston, TX, Fulton, MD, or Huntsville, AL.
Along with a continuous curiosity to learn and grow professionally and personally, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Collaborate with your Recruiting Peers and our Programs to attract, source, identify and hire across different disciplines and skillsets to include Clinical and Mental Health Professional to Aerospace Engineers.
Support our Military and Skillbridge hiring initiatives on an as needed basis.
Learn and utilize various recruiting databases and applicant tracking systems to include, Workday, Phenom CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.
Follow OFCCP and all other regulations to ensure KBR is being fair and complaint with our recruiting practices.
Basic Qualifications:
Eligible for DoD Skillbridge and approval from your Unit, with the ability to start within the next 30 – 45 Days
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of two (2) years of Recruiting experience in the military. Additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of degree
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, be a team player willing to pitch in as needed, be adaptable to change, able to multi-task, and work well in a high pressure, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualification
Prior experience utilizing recruiting databases and applicant tracking systems; i.e. Workday and Phenom.
