The opportunity:
As a Security Engineer in KBR’s Advisory Team, you will interpret, organise, execute and coordinate cybersecurity assignments related to client requirements.
In addition to providing security optimisation and enhancement advice to numerous clients in Defence, Defence Industry and Critical Infrastructure, you will also:
Advise on security frameworks, methodologies and customer solutions
Supervise and manage Tier 1 and 2 analysis
Conduct threat hunting
Run penetration testing of both IT and OT systems
Configure and administer ICS operating systems
Provide vulnerability modelling and cyber terrain mapping
Conduct supply chain risk management
Provide SIEM engineering or enhancement
Engage in cyber threat intelligence integration
Conduct pre-sales activities to support Cybersecurity RFI/RFT responses on behalf of KBR
Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
Essential:
Understanding of the Defence Information Security Manual (ISM),
Knowledge of National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST)
Experience applying a range of ISO/IEC cybersecurity frameworks
Experience with Splunk SIEM tooling
Familiarity of the cybersecurity issues/problems facing the Defence and Defence Industry sector and client organisations
Hold a current AGSVA NV1 security clearance
Desirable:
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field
Cybersecurity certification or undertaking certification (CISSP or equivalent)
Experience with FORTISIEM tooling
Member of relevant institute
