We are actively seeking the best leaders in behavioral healthcare that are interested in being appreciated for their high-level skills in the program management of suicide prevention, crisis intervention, threat assessment, and exciting research.   

 

KBR has an exciting opportunity for a Skillbridge Deputy Program Manager to join our team of mental health professionals.  In this role, in conjunction with the Program Manager, you will provide overall direction, leadership, and management for work performed on the contract.

This is a remote opportunity with our Program Management Office operating out of the Houston, TX area.

Along with a strong desire to grow professional and personally, you will be responsible for, but limited too: 

 

Provides organizational leadership to manage cost, schedule, and technical performance on program task orders 

Provides direction and management to multiple work groups and/or units engaged in diverse activities such as planning, task order management, operations, research, design, testing, and development 

Develop solutions to program problems and directs work of managers and other employees.  

Lead the program’s Continuous Improvement Initiatives 

Conduct customer briefings and technical meetings for Senior Management 

Supports and coordinates Business Development requests for information, past performance, and proposal support 

Ensures compliance with terms of the contract, task orders, and with government and company policies, standards, and procedures

Required Education, Experience and Skills? 

 

Eligible to participate in DoD Skillbridge Program 

Master’s degree in a related field, plus a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a senior leadership role in managing a healthcare or behavioral health care clinic within the Department of Defense.? 

?Strong knowledge of mission operations and military treatment facilities.? Includes shown ability for establishing and maintaining technical and programmatic relationships with KBR customers.?  

Proven experience in achieving objectives and leading and managing a technical workforce.?? 

Previous experience in Program Management or working in a Program Management Office a plus.  

Ability to obtain PMP Certification within one year of hire date 

Extensive experience and understanding of DoD healthcare operations. 

 

Preferred Education, Experience and Skills 

 Previous experience in Program Management or working in a Program Management Office a plus. 

Demonstrated growth-mindset needed to expand KBR’s business into related areas to generate on-contract revenue.?? 

Demonstrated human resource skills in the coaching and development of managers and experienced technical/professionals.??

Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.??
