Who We Are

HII-Mission Technologies seeks to fill an Air Mission Planner position to support operations spanning various European locations. You will be expected to reside and work out of our Ramstein, Germany offices. This position requires an experienced ISR Air Mission Planner with a background and associated experience in Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR). This position will support a US Military customer with MQ-9 Flight Operations by administration of the Launch and Recovery Element. The Air Mission Planner will lead Pre-Deployment Site Surveys and act as a Subject Matter Expert for MQ-9 operations.  Air Mission Planner requirements will include filing flight plans, coordinating airspace, landing and take-off times, authoring SOPs, and other related tasks. The Planner will be well-versed in the appropriate policies and directives that govern exercises and operations in the European theater.

What You Will Do
Plan, coordinate, and manage MQ-9 flight operations in support of USAFE by administration of the Launch and Recovery Element.
Offer SME support in the implementation of MQ-9 ISR operations.
The single focal point for the Government regarding operational oversight including all local chain-of-command problems.
Act on behalf of the contractor in all matters related to the performance of the contract at the deployed locations.
Help facilitate and aid in legal matters, standard operating procedures, and MQ-9 system and operational issues.
Coordinate and implement the Flight Operations Procedures, Ground Operations Procedures, and Mishap Response Plans as well as ATO and AOC requirements and reports.
Travel to various exercise sites throughout Europe in support of planning and other forms of pre-exercise/exercise activities.
What We Are Looking For
6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
USAFE/NATO experience with remotely piloted aircraft operations
Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other internal and external organizations
Experience with mission planning for remotely piloted aircraft
Working knowledge of applicable policies, regulations, directives, and doctrine that pertain to exercise activities and programs in the European theatre
Expertise and comfortability to provide insight as the contractor to various stakeholders regarding ISR mission planning
Clearance- Must possess and maintain a Secret Clearance
Preferred: Bonus Points For…
Applicants with 5+ total years in a military intelligence field with a focus on Europe / Eastern Europe will also be considered
Former military remotely piloted aircraft pilot
TS/SCI
Extensive writing and oral communication skills
Previous experience in exercise planning and operations within USAFE
Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing organizational needs
