This opportunity resides with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. From towers to processors, we design, develop, integrate and manage the sensors, systems and other assets necessary to support integrated intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) operations, exploitation and analysis for the Intelligence Community, the military services, geographic and functional combatant commands and DoD agencies. 

Who We Are

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to join our team located at Ft. Meade, Maryland. This critical position is part of a 24/7 Help Desk team that is required to maintain optimal posture of SIGINT systems across a wide range of AORs. The position requires that the employees diagnose, troubleshoot, and rectify any faults for deployed sensors. If it cannot be rectified during the mission, the help desk technician then reaches out to forward deployed FSRs with the diagnosis and the steps required to resolve the issue. 
With this being a shift work position, the technician is expected to work with a full team on shift with alternating hours. The current shift schedule is 12 hours per day alternating from nights to days (and vice versa) every 2 months. The days of work during the first week is work Wednesday through Sunday, then off for 2 days, then work Wednesday and Thursday, off for 5 days, until the following Wednesday.

What You Will Do
Monitor multiple chatrooms for outages.
Coordinate with operators, technicians, and engineers to troubleshoot issues.
Maintain the outage/troubleshooting database. 
Identify to engineers flaws in design whether it be software or hardware related
Serve as a liaison for failure analysis and troubleshooting coordination with SIGINT operations and field service personnel. 
Provide real-time overall fleet health status of SIGINT Mission equipment. Maintain Mission Status Log for DOD and other US Government entities.
Review data in support of collection concept development. 
Maintain awareness of community activities impacting assignments. 
Independently write reports detailing methods, results, and impacts to assigned issues. Perform queries and analysis using national databases.
Perform signals analysis research. Produce geo-location data to support the development of various intelligence reports.
Train other members of the team on SIGINT fundamentals.
Create data products and support/develop associated systems which heavily utilize technically-derived data from multiple sources to include SIGINT, MASINT, IMINT, OSINT, and HUMINT.
What We Are Looking For
0 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Poly.
Preferred: Bonus Points For
Mode 1, 2,3, 5, or 6 certified.
Familiarity with AIRHANDLER and AIRHANDLER suite of systems.
Experience with troubleshooting any systems.
Next Generation Wireless Certification.
Raw signals processing, programming, or quantitative analysis experience.
Associate or bachelor’s degree in mathematics, physics, statistics, engineering, or science.
Military experience.

Physical Requirements
May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
