Summary
The objective is to provide cyber, information warfare (IW), intelligence, reporting and cryptologic assistance to support 16 AF planning and operations efforts.
Cyber, Electronic Warfare and Space (CEWS) is looking to hire a SIGINT Target Analyst to provide highly skilled and knowledgeable support in NSA, USCYBERCOM, and AF signals, as well as, cyber, IW and intelligence practices, policies and organizational responsibilities.
Additionally, the SIGINT Target Analyst will provide full-time support in the areas of manning, mission operations, to include exercise and real-world activities, collection management, SIGINT reporting, and intelligence/system architecture planning for modernization and integration of IW efforts.
Responsibilities
Perform global network analysis and mapping and recognize intelligence gaps to tailor collection or enable new collection opportunities and work with entities to enable 16 AF access to the data
Engage with external stakeholders, including but not limited to: US government and foreign partners, industry
Engage with internal (NSA/CSS) stakeholders, including partner and customer organizations, and individual employees
Use knowledge of customer requirements to analyze and process intelligence information
Monitor collateral and SIGINT sources for useful information
Draft reports based on intelligence information using appropriate formats for dissemination
Prioritize mission-related intelligence or information requirements against target.
Conduct and review collection, tasking, and/or targeting
Prioritize target reporting based on mission requirements
Sanitize or eliminate sensitive information from target reporting to protect sources
Add, update, or enrich information in mission relevant databases
Conduct trend analysis (for example, technology, activities, communications) to characterize target traffic behavior patterns
Define target set based on customer requirements
Select, build, and develop compliant query strategies against appropriate databases
Conduct target technology trends research
Conduct analysis to support various military operations
Detect patterns and trends in spatial information (from maps, images, GPS, etc.)
Utilize traditional/non-traditional technologies and methodologies to identify and locate items of interest and threats and assist with mitigation strategy recommendations
Discover reportable information with minimal assistance, construct and prepare reports for release using NSA compliance standards and guidelines #LI-SG1
Minimum Qualifications
5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field
3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field
0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field
High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
Must have at least four years as a Target Analyst Reporter
Must have five years of experience in SIGINT operations
Must show proof of completed NSA reporting training
Must have a current/active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph for consideration and be willing to comply with SAP requirements
Preferred Requirements
Three years of networking operations/support within the last ten years
Bachelor’s degree desired, however multiple years of practical experience are preferred.
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills
