Cyber, Electronic Warfare and Space (CEWS) is looking to hire a Cybersecurity System Engineer to support the client Zero-trust initiatives.  

This position is located in the Columbia MD area. You will play a key in role in identifying and coordinating execution of pilot projects implementing zero-trust cybersecurity capabilities within the DoD and IC. In the position, the candidate supports ZT demos, briefings and information exchanged sessions. 

 

Essential Job Responsibilities

 

In this position you will:

 

Support development of cybersecurity architectures, engineering, design and research. Implement COTS/GOTS cybersecurity tools and evaluation emerging technologies. 

 

Other duties may include:

 

Acting as an action officer for the Zero Trust Program office;
Coordination with other client offices, IC partners and vendors. 
Development and maintenance of Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) are other duties within the Zero Trust office.

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. 
Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university 
Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Experience with DoD, IC, and other federal government (e.g., NIST) policy, directives, and instructions relevant to CS strategic planning and direction.

 

NO clearance required to initially start but candidate must willing to submit to TS/SCI with Poly background investigation.

 

 

Preferred Requirements

 

Integrated Master Schedule experience.
Project management experience.
Experience with emerging technologies such as cloud cybersecurity, security orchestration/automation. 
Experience identifying and coordinating execution of pilot projects implementing cybersecurity capabilities with the DoD or IC.
Experience with COTS/GOTS cybersecurity tool implementation.
