Raytheon Technologies (RTX) Corporate is seeking a Modernization and Globalization Risk Analyst (Principal Specialist, Business and Systems Transformation) to join Application Factory Insights team.

The Application Factory initiative is an Optimus-funded, application transformation program that will orchestrate, design, plan and deliver on application retirements, migrations & cloud transformations in support of both achieving merger synergies & building a simpler, more future-ready application portfolio.

Central to the success of the Application Factory is accelerating the adoption of modern cloud and DevOps capabilities to modernize the RTX application portfolio and enabling the Application Managed Service (AMS) organization to leverage a global support model.

Working in partnership with the Application Factory Execution, Excellence, QAS Teams and the Factory POD leads, this role will ensure the successful modernization and globalization of in scope applications. The technical risk analyst will also proactively analyze and raise any issues, dependencies, or risks to App Factory leadership. This will allow for timely escalation to key leadership before it hinders execution.

This role requires strong understanding of the risk analysis, application modernizations, AMS globalization, and execution of the application lifecycle.

The ideal candidate possesses excellent technical understanding, project management skills, and is a self-starter and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Facilitate cross functional meetings with infrastructure, network, cyber and Global Trade teams to expedite dependency resolution
Collaborate with technical leads to provide impact, likelihood and mitigation plans to program level risks
Co-operate with multiple vendors and stakeholder parties to ensure prompt resolution of risks
Add and monitor risks and dependencies in Jira
Draft and present risk reports and proposals to leadership team
Conduct risk assessments, collect and analyze documents and proactively raise risks
Manage status trackers for modernization and globalization efforts
Maintain executive level presentations with status, updates, and escalated decisions
Possible travel between sites up to 20%

Required Skills:

Typically a minimum of 5+ year’ experience in risk analysis arena and a bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree; Advanced degree and 3+ years in related work experience

Demonstrated ability of technical understanding as it pertains to app cloud modernization and AMS Globalization applications
Strong knowledge of the full application development and deployment lifecycle
Experience working within the application development lifecycle
Experience serving as scrum master, project manager, risk manager, managing on time, quality delivery of initiatives within an IT organization
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills that are relatable to all levels
Adaptability and multi-tasking; experience working in a fast-paced environment
US Citizenship

Educational Requirements:  

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Management of Information Systems, Mathematics or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree

The salary range for this role is $70,000.00 to $152,000.00; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD – 161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
