Collins Aerospace is seeking to hire an experienced Wheels and Brakes SIOP Inventory Manager (Remote) who is responsible for proactively managing inventory for Wheels and Brakes (W&B) and drive continuous improvement. Cross-functional collaboration with our Global network will be key within the role to synchronize internal & external supply base while balancing service level and inventory value. In addition, deep analytical skills will be pivotal to support SIOP strategy, satisfy the customer and provide clear line of sight for material requirements.
This Wheels and Brakes SIOP Inventory Manager (Remote) position reports to the Associate Director, W&B SIOP Lead and will lead and support PFEP, Inventory Management, MOQ strategy, Kanban etc. across W&B locations. This role is integral in linking business strategy to our operational plans and identifying key risks in meeting plans to a cross-functional leadership team. This role will provide facilitated matrixed communication, deep data analysis, and plan alignment.
This role serves in a Remote capacity.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead accelerated implementation of PFEP process that balances demand, supply, and financial goals of the business.
Drive ownership and maturity of material master parameters affecting inventory.
Proactively monitor and ensure balance of supply & demand to minimize the risk of stock out and/or obsolescence.
Create and present inventory scenarios based on demand and/or service level variations.
Develop inventory entitlement plans which optimizes inventory to meet varying levels of service in different areas of the business while maximizing NITO.
Lead the development of a multi echelon inventory system to optimize inventory supporting both internal and external customers.
Partner with Demand Planner, Master Scheduler, and Financial Analyst to determine high-level plan risks and guide scenario analysis and cross-functional reconciliation.
Ensure alignment of site-level master data / PFEP to drive appropriate signals within SAP.
Support the Master Scheduler and SIOP leads for operational data and analytics.
Apply advanced level of understanding of planning processes to facilitate deep analytics and data alignment across sites and functions.
Create reports, manage metrics and establish automated data interconnectivity with other sources for the purpose of driving performance to plan.
Be an influential change agent who leads continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% domestically.
Required to travel to department events as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
This position typically requires a bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 8 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required.
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder.
2+ years’ experience utilizing planning/MRP software packages.
Experience applying structured and disciplined methodology to identify root cause(s) in the process.
Experience prior inventory/ sales inventory operations planning.
Experience Deploying innovative and effective solutions resulting in risk mitigation and improved execution.
Experience in supply chain concepts and their financial impact (inventory turns, cash flow, and working capital).
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree focus in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Logistics, or Business Administration
APICS (CPIM, CSCP)
Problem Solving Skills
SAP experience
Experience in cross-discipline collaboration and problem solving.

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD – 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
