Collins Aerospace is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist, Program Support for the Environment & Airframe Control Systems business. You will be working as an individual contributor to improve how EACS supports and meets the needs of the value stream, while aligning with the Supply Chain (SC) commodity teams and the needs of the wider business. In this role, you will combine analysis and reporting along with hands-on application within each of the departments in Supply Chain to ensure excellence in the overall performance of operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Supports senior management across Supply Chain disciplines to identify gaps in processes and implementations
Conducts root cause analysis and identifies strategies to bridge the gaps. Supports implementation of identified processes and monitors to closure.
Supports identification of opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
Gathers information on opportunities to enable suppliers efficient manufacture of parts. Drive capture activity through the business.
Identifies critical paths and resolves escalated issues with vendors and Supply Chain management.
May manage Supply Chain processes.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience OR
In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
