The hybrid position will be responsible for assisting engineers with non-technical general administrative engineering related support activities. Individual must demonstrate the ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail, support multiple engineers and provide a wide variety of administrative and computer related tasks to assist engineering projects. This individual will perform as primary engineering support focal point for inquiries and problem resolution during the various phases of the engineering development cycle.  Must possess the ability to coordinate and lead activities as well as strong organization and analytical skills.

Job Responsibilities:

Create, format and edit engineering documentation. 

Provides tools expertise and support to Engineering (Microsoft O365 Apps, DOORS, Windchill, Subversion, Jira etc.).

Supports the Bid & Proposal process by inputting data into the template and performing bid narrative reviews utilizing Bid Master Web (BMW).

Manage compliance matrix, ensure the creation of compliance memos are created 

Monthly Cadence Review chart coordination and updates 

Program level action item management and driver

Create Meeting Minutes in support of internal/external customer meetings

Export Classification utilizing the xClass tool

Run the Critical Review Board (CRB) and track action items

Coordinate Supplier Request for Information (SRI) and track till closure

Engineering Change initiation and coordination

QN coordination & inputs to SAP

Gather status and push Purchase Reqs, Purchase Orders and Change Orders

Drive the review and approval of data submittals

Create certification reports and track the certification priority list

Supports the development and maintenance of engineering web-based pages. 

Assists Engineering leads with various project management tasks as required.

Basic Qualifications:

HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience OR
In the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.
Must be a US Citizen
Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.  Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong communication and project coordination skills
Experience with customer support and service preferred
Prior experience with Microsoft Excel
Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
ALM, SAP, Ariba, Master
Tool Experience Desired but Not Required: Experience in SAP, DOORS, PREP, Subversion, Jira/ALM, SharePoint, Agile and Windchill
