Senior Analyst SOX Cybersecurity & Risk Management, a member of the DT cybersecurity SOX team will be reporting to the Sr Manager, Cyber Security & Risk Management – SOX Coordinator. Roles and responsibilities include planning, coordinating, executing, and communicating cyber-SOX testing functions with minimal oversight. This includes collaborating with other cyber teams during the SOX testing cycle to assess their controls. This role will also include working with external auditors to facilitate and coordinate their SOX testing activities.   This individual will work remotely anywhere within the United States.

As a senior analyst SOX cybersecurity & risk management, you will perform testing of cybersecurity SOX controls, identify, communicate, and track findings, and work with external auditors to facilitate and coordinate their SOX cybersecurity testing functions.

This individual can sit at any Collins domestic location or remote.

Primary Responsibilities:

Participate in completing SOX cybersecurity testing

Create key control narratives for significant SOX cybersecurity processes

Prepare clear, concise test documentation and reporting

Present SOX audit conclusions and recommendations to senior management

Facilitate the coordination of internal and external SOX testing requests

Manage, track, and report SOX cybersecurity issues

Continuous self-improvement including the addition of technical skills, as needed, based on department needs

May manage projects or processes and coach and review work of staff team members

Demonstrate a commitment to diversity and act as a champion for change within the department and in partnership with other functions/businesses.

Other Cyber SOX testing functions as necessary

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR

Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience OR

In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required

Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Experience with IT controls frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-171, 800-53, etc.

Experience in SOX cybersecurity audits

Preferred Qualifications:

Attained or working towards advanced degree.

A detailed understanding of the general computer control areas and IT governance frameworks, Sarbanes Oxley, and the COSO framework.

Proven experience with evaluating security and controls on various on-premise and cloud-based technologies in IT manufacturing environments.

Strong ability to understand, assess and prioritize risks across the components of the IT environment (application, database, operating system, network and physical).

Strong ability to effectively communicate in a remote environment, document test work, generate and create effective reporting, and discuss potential findings to both technical and non-technical recipients.

Demonstrates leadership competencies and communication skills to work effectively across all levels and functions within the business.

Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate diverse teams toward operational efficiencies within a fast paced, global environment

Knowledge/experience in project management, strong analytical, problem solving, planning and organizational skills

Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or desire/ability to obtain certification.

Experience with public accounting, internal audit, government accounting, or project management work with exposure to a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of SOX, COBIT, COSO and other frameworks

Navigate relationships to build and contribute to effective and committed teams including respecting others and their ideas, ability to work in cross-functional networks and enable transparency, understanding and cohesion among group members

Explains policies, practices and procedures of the work area to others within the organization, supporting decision-makers with recommended courses of action and contributing to risk analysis and associated discussions with customers and internal teams.

The salary range for this role is $70,000.00 to $152,000.00; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
