Collins Aerospace is actively seeking a Sr. Analyst, Contracts to join our team. This position is for a contracts administrator who will participate in and/or conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to ensure contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications with a focus on new business and U.S. Government contracts.

Primary Responsibilities:  

Independently supports the contract manager in coordinating input from other organizations during the sales campaign process 

Reviews solicitations and creates proposals, negotiates, and executes contracts

Ensure proposal/contract review, approval, and execution in accordance with corporate and/or business unit guidelines

Analyzes contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies and business unit procedures

Advises and represents the organization on legal issues concerning contract matters

Draft and negotiate simple contractual agreements, e.g., Non-Disclosure Agreements

Communicate contract policy and practice to internal business teams

Prepare and administer routine correspondence, negotiation memoranda, and contract documentation to ensure timely and coordinated submittal

Prepare, organize, and maintain contract records and files documenting contract performance and compliance

Conduct research to support contract audits

Perform contract closeout activities

Maintains historical legal and quality records

Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires: Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience OR 

In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required  

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

Basic to working knowledge of corporate policies and procedures and contracting concepts

Knowledge of Government contracting including FAR and DFARs. Ability to draft simple contractual instruments in accordance with prescribed templates and guidelines

Possess the ability to multi-task routine contract and proposal activities while responding to emerging requirement changes

Communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to maintain internal and external customer relationships

Experience with ERP systems; SAP expertise a strong consideration

Experience with ITAR/EAR regulations also preferred

NCMA certification a plus

The salary range for this role is 62,000 USD – 124,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
