This position is for a Software Engineer Co-op within the Network Software team of the Avionics Platform Software department. We are seeking highly motivated engineers that are ready to join us in multi-core certified solutions to the avionics industry!

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. Regardless of your role type, collaboration and innovation are critical to our business and all employees will have access to digital tools so they can work with colleagues around the world – and access to Collins sites when their work requires in-person meetings.
Primary Responsibilities:
You will be a part of an integrated, cross-functional team responsible for designing, developing, and testing low-level software for avionics and related products for our Next Generation Avionics platforms. You will help create solutions to keep all our all forces, domestic and international allies, safe at home and abroad on platforms including attack/assault aircraft, fixed wing avionics, helicopters, tilt-rotors, UAS and more. Additionally, we can keep our skies moving at the ever increasing pace of technology on platforms including commercial air transport, business/regional, tanker operations, transport, cargo, and more!
Basic Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
