Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced Shift Warehouse Supervisor who will own tactical day-to day tasks. You will supervise warehouse employees, assign warehouse staff to tasks/job areas and ensure daily tasks are completed. You will also train, motivate and empower your warehouse staff to work collaboratively and effectively. You will also act as the point of contact for warehouse staff and internal customers ensuring daily deliverables and deadlines are met while resolving issues as they arise. In addition, you will be empowered to process and execute responsibilities and be involved with Site/ Lean Continuous Improvement Transformation. You will have an opportunity to learn the global aspects of this position.

This position is working onsite at our Troy Ohio facility. Relocation assistance available.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage daily schedules, employee shifts, time-off requests and support other employee relations responsibilities.
Assign duties to employees and oversee their progress.
Ensure that daily warehouse targets are met.
Train and integrate new workers.
Provide guidance and coaching to employees as needed.
Coordinate with necessary departments to solve customer problems and drive to a satisfactory resolution.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts as assigned.
No travel required.
Perform other duties as required.

Basic Qualifications:

Typically, bachelor’s degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices OR
In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.
Must be US citizen. 
Experience problem solving and prioritizing multiple deliverables.
Experience participating in and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Experience with handling tight scheduling, fast-paced, high-volume levels of activity.
Experience with MS Office-Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of SAP and/or other MRP system
Strong analytical mind set, using operational and financial data (Key Performance Indicators) to make sound business decisions.
Experience presenting and communicating to senior level leadership.
