Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Engineering Supervisor, Manufacturing Operations to supervise a team manufacturing engineers and production level hourly direct Tooling employees in Manufacturing Operations.
*The position works 100% onsite in Riverside, CA.*
Lead a team of 3-4 bargaining unit Toolers in day-to-day production operations
Lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers in day-to-day operations
Works closely with Production Team Leaders, Quality Supervisor, program management office, and other development team members
Leads and commits staff and resources to support business opportunity prioritization and pursuit execution
Maintains Environmental, Health and Safety Compliance, including regulatory record keeping, injury reduction and a behavioral based safety culture
Lead and promote shop floor Real Time Problem Resolution meetings
Develop talent and career path growth for the technical team to ensure a sustainable team
Manage all change process associated with product and processes
Maintains personnel attendance and performance records
Promotes employee retention and growth
Fosters a “One Team” philosophy
Monitors performance: productivity, production schedule, cost, quality and customer satisfaction goals within our manufacturing facility
Drives relentless Root Cause and Corrective Action in the quest to eliminate repeat errors
Lead team members and overall team achievement to accomplish Policy Deployment objectives
Guides cost reduction and process improvement to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.
Ensure KPI’s / metrics of the team are met
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience OR
In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
Knowledge in Continuous Improvement Tools.
Must be able to work in an ITAR environment
Must be a US citizen (No dual-citizens)
Experience as Team Leader or as Engineer
Experience as Supervisor (desirable)
Experience working with Percent Loads, Standard Worksheet, Standard Work Combination Sheets
Experience with RTPR Process
Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM))

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD – 161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
