Experienced Procurement professional. Executes processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement goals.

This individual will sit at Collins Aerospace Interiors 1455 Fairchild Rd, Winston-Salem, NC.  This is considered a Hybrid position (combination of in office and remote work).

Primary Responsibilities:

Carries out Procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including RFPs, negotiation preparations, and cost analysis.

Responds to client inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction.

Carries out activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services to ensure terms are in the organization’s best interest.

Prepares purchase orders, approves payments, and negotiates prices to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly, under general guidance.

Proactively works  with the supplier to monitor all parts to support on-time deliveries to our customers.

Drive actions to mitigate potential delivery delays by identifying risks, performing root cause analysis and development of recovery plans to bring shipments back in-line with customer requirements

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR

Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience OR

In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required

Preferred Qualifications:

Supply Chain and/or Purchasing background preferred.

Prior experience working within a manufacturing environment.
