Areas of Expertise
• Information Technology desktop hardware and compute infrastructure
• Microsoft Windows and Office
• Linux
• Networking
• General Systems Administration tools (SCCM)
• General knowledge of computer software
Familiar with security frameworks for compute infrastructure such as DFARS (Defense
Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) and RMF (Risk Management Framework)
• General knowledge of Engineering software (preferred but not required)
Responsibilities:
• Serve as Information Systems Security Administrator (ISSA) for Collins secure labs
Act as point of contact for a subset of classified labs for; hardware, operating systems, and
engineering software tools support
Drive software & tools escalations to resolution by taking the lead as coordinator and pulling
in multiple stakeholder groups
•Deploy & maintain secure compute environment for classified labs
• Implements security controls for systems as directed by Security Manager
• Infrastructure systems tier 2 support
• Executes life-cycle upgrades (hardware & operating systems)
• Computer hardware; install, move, add, change, and deinstall
Basic Qualifications:
• Active Security Clearance (required)
• Security+ Certification or ability to obtain within first 30 days of employment (required)
3+ years of experience supporting technology (hardware or software) in an enterprise
environment (7 without Bachelor’s degree)
• 3+ years of experience in customer service
2+ years of experience supporting engineering software tools such as; Jira, Confluence,
Fisheye, Bamboo, and Jama (preferred but not required)
• Linux Systems/Server Administration (preferred but not required)
• Experience administering Active Directory (preferred but not required)
• CISSP (preferred but not required)
• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience OR
• In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology,
Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
