Position Role Type:

Accountable for the full lifecycle of products and services from inception through completion, inclusive of pursuit and order capture, design and development, produce to deliver, service/support, and long-term strategic business plans.  Assigned as the chair of the Integrated Project Team (IPT) accountable for managing the contract lifecycle, cost, schedule, performance and on-time delivery of company programs or subsystems of major programs.  Serves as the face of the organization to clients and customers.  Has profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility for a specified value stream or group of value streams within a business segment or portfolio.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for program execution, ensuring adherence to program plans, schedules, and budgets for programs under his/her responsibility.

Reviews and updates milestones, program plans, schedules and budgets for programs to ensure that the organization’s objectives are met.

Identifies risks and opportunities, develops risk and opportunities, develops mitigations and recommendations to achieve customer satisfaction, cost and performance goals.

Participates in and leads the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes, including coordinating preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, operational budgets, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts to ensure legal compliance and to protect the organization’s interests.

Supports annual strategic planning efforts for the business.

Prepares and presents value-stream strategy, progress, and results.

Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience

Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Customer facing experience as a project/program manager

Owned and managed multiple aspects of a program/project, i.e. financial, engineering, operations

Responsibility for profit and loss

Negotiation experience

Able to travel nationally as needed up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications:

Technical background, i.e. engineering, quality, etc.

Lean manufacturing/six sigma

Root Cause Corrective Action

Change management

Manufacturing life cycle

Interpreting aerospace and U.S. government requirements, specifications and contracts

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD – 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
