Collins Aerospace is seeking a motivated accountant to join the Sensor Systems business. The role type for this position is remote.  Many of the job responsibilities can be performed from a remote location.  Some job responsibilities, including physical inventory audits and timekeeping audits, will require on-site presence at our facilities in Burnsville, MN. This position is a P3 band level.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead Government contracting compliance and control activities, including performing risk assessments and internal audits
Perform physical inventory audits
Participate in the standard cost setting process; monitor and analyze variances from standard
Prepare month end journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting
Monitor account entries and perform financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and balance sheet reserve calculations
Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
Typically requires: Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience or Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required  

Basic Qualifications:

Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience with U.S. Government contracting, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
ERP experience (SAP)
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical and communications skills

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD – 161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
