Job Description:

Performs a variety of manual/administrative tasks associated with inventory control, stockroom, kitting, expediting and shipping and receiving operations in accordance with established procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

•Receives, checks, stores, issues and ships a variety of items and maintains inventory control.

•Uses assistance and/or powered mechanical means to load, unload, store and deliver a variety of incoming and outgoing material.

•Prepares and packages small and large parts using proper procedures and materials.

•Processes purchase orders for spare tooling and materials.

•Proficiently uses computer hardware/software.

•Oversees parts preparation, material handling, measuring and packaging equipment. Records calibration logs of tools and equipment.

•Oversees inventory and maintains all government tooling property according to military regulations.

•Maintains contact with personnel from various customers and supports areas to ensure accuracy of material/process.

•Uses assorted measuring and weight recording devices.

•Keeps equipment and surrounding areas neat and clean.

•Performs other related duties as required within the scope of this job function.

•While performing the duties of this job, the associate is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch and occasionally required to talk or hear.  The associate must occasionally lift, push, pull and move up to 35 pounds.

•Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Basic Qualifications:

•HS diploma or GED Required with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required.

•Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

•Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.

•Ability to write simple correspondence in English.

•Basic PC operational skills including but not limited to using a keyboard, mouse, basic data entry and email.

•Prior relevant experience in inventory control or material handling role required.
