Collins Aerospace is looking for a Manufacturing & Operations Project Manager.  This individual contributor role supports our Bizjet & Boeing Programs. This position will be Hybrid out of Foley, AL

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite.  Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader. Candidates should be based within a reasonable commuting distance from the site.

Primary Responsibilities:

Creating a project plan and executing a project by leading a cross-functional team (typically 3 to 5 members), providing both technical and project oversight
Performs critical path analysis and prepares and implements work-around plans to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Interfacing with internal stakeholders such as the program office and executives, as well as external customers.
Proactively identify project risks, develop robust mitigation plans, and lead the timely execution of those plans
Participate in technical discussions and lead customer presentations
Adherence and development of engineering standard work
Provide timely and effective communication to management, suppliers, the engineering team, and customers
Support producibility and industrialization activities as required
Participate in industrialization efforts at manufacturing sites
Travel to external customers

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Project management experience
ERP experience, including but not limited to SAP
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience communicating and presenting to executive level personnel both internally and externally
Continuous Improvement tool experience
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or ACE
Aerospace Industry experience
