Position Role Type:

Onsite

As part of the Logistics team, this role will be focused on recognizing safety, quality and productivity risks in logistics and manufacturing practices; and will play an active role in designing processes for their elimination.  This role will also provide an opportunity to hone skills in data collection and analysis; and will learn to leverage trends in data to make recommendations and design solutions for improving safety, maximizing efficiency, and driving down costs. This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, and will run May/June to December; it is only eligible for current students with a graduation date past December 2023.

Primary Responsibilities:

Work in a collaborative team environment with both salary and hourly employees. 

Assist a cross-functional team to develop unique solutions to ensure proper warehousing and delivery of materials to our internal customers.?  

Work with logistics management team and staff to understand current processes, identify and minimize waste by applying LEAN principles. 

Facilitate Field Loadable Software work function by applying continuous support through program maintenance. 

Help to develop personnel performance metrics in order to increase safety and efficiency. 

Analyze current and historical data to recognize trends and prioritize process improvement projects that will have the greatest impact on the business. 

Basic Qualifications:

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
