Collins Aerospace is hiring for a Maintenance Technician IV who will perform multi-skilled maintenance work necessary to install, inspect, maintain, overhaul, and repair facilities and production support equipment around the facility.
This position is located on Busch Drive, Jacksonville, FL.

Primary Responsibilities:
Obtain tools, material, and equipment for carrying out work assignments on electro-mechanical systems, control devices and related equipment.
This equipment includes: Air compressors and systems, Vacuum pumps and systems, Bulk nitrogen system.
Ensures quality and workmanship of repair.
Perform component installation, system maintenance and repair work as assigned and carry out preventive maintenance and service as required.
Assist others responsible for complex installation, overhaul and repair projects in preparing materials and operating equipment.
Assist others working on joint projects where common skill crossover provides the opportunity for shared responsibilities and more effective use of available skills.
Completed the daily work area clean up.
Prompt reporting of malfunctioning equipment and machines.
Working within EH&S guidelines as defined by RTX and OSHA.
Training, obtaining, and maintaining licenses, operator permits, and certifications (as necessary).
Participation in Company and Department sponsored EH&S and Quality initiatives.
Occasional exposure to chemicals, wearing a respirator when required.
Must have various types of pump overhaul and repair experience.
Experience working in a maintenance position in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Hands on electrical experience that allows person to be Arc flash trained and certified.
Basic Qualifications:
AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
In the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 8 years of relevant experience is required. OR a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and less than 2 years of relevant experience.
Must be willing to reside in Jacksonville, FL area; no relocation provided for this role.
Minimum of 4 years experience performing Planned Maintenance (PM).
Must be a US Citizen
Must be able to obtain DoD security clearance.
Must currently have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirement.
Preferred Qualifications:
Able to trouble shoot, diagnose, and repair Electrical Control systems such as PLC’s, Logic relays and basic machine control systems from electrical drawings.
Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) systems.
Crane and rigging experience.
Prior DoD contracting experience
